Lisa Maier- Insurance Coordinator
lisa@drgellerman.com

Lisa If you are a working parent, you spend more hours with co-workers than you do at home. One of the wonderful things about Dr. Gellerman’s office is that I am working with a great family. Fortunately for me, the staff and patients are outstanding.

Daniela Morales – Scheduling Coordinator
daniela@drgellerman.com

Daniela My name is Daniela Morales. I started working for Dr. Gellerman in August of 2008. I was recommended by Lissy Alvarez, an ex-coworker. I got to know the staff in the first few months and became good friends with all of them. They taught me what I still know today.

Since this is a new field to me, every working day is a learning experience. I’m very thankful to be a part of Dr. Gellerman’s team. It’s a friendly environment as much as it is professional. Dr. Gellerman gives us the opportunity to share our ideas to improve the company, which is something that I have never experienced in any previous jobs. I think this is a great way of making us feel like a family.

Lois Craft – Scheduling Coordinator
lois@drgellerman.com

Lois Working for Dr. Gellerman has been a wonderful experience for a number of reasons. However, I feel that the best reason is that my position has afforded me the opportunity to get to know some spectacular patients. As someone fairly new to the Huntington area, meeting and conversing with patients from many towns has really helped me to become more integrated in the Huntington community. Making connections with patients through commonalities in languages spoken has been especially exciting since I am fluent in Italian and French. Thus, despite all the other great things about working for Dr. Gellerman, getting to know patients throughout the course of their treatment has been and still is the most rewarding part of working at the front desk. It is great to see patients progressing from their initial visits with us to a Spectacular Smile at the end.

Anastasia Myagkova – Registered Dental Hygienist
anastasia@drgellerman.com

Anastasia Hi! My name is Anastasia Myagkova, I was born and raised in Ukraine, where I received my associate degree in Business and Economics.  In 2003 my brother and I moved to America to reunite with our mom.  In 2006 while receiving a degree in Dental Hygiene I joined Dr. Gellerman's Spectacular Smile Team.  I have learned a lot about orthodontics working along side Dr. Gellerman. She has taught me so much and has trained me to be the best orthodontic technician, everyday is a new and exciting learning experience. I will be forever grateful to her.

I love my work place, the team and the patients that fill it! I love to cook, fish, garden, sew and discuss dentistry. I am a passionate hockey fan, an undiagnosed dress collecting maniac, and an amateur ballroom dancer! I am a connoisseur when it comes to the tastiest flavors for impressions and color coordinating for braces. I can't wait to meet you and hear your story!

Gregory Guillaume - Sterilization Technician

gregory@drgellerman.com

NicoleMy name is Gregory. I  joined Dr. Gellerman’s team in September 2011. My job is sterilization technician, which means I have to make sure that all the instruments are clean for use by the assistants and Dr. Gellerman. I am currently attending Nassau Community College. I came across this position because one of the assistants, Tara, is my cousin, and she informed me that the office was looking for someone reliable to be a sterilization technician. After meeting Dr. Gellerman’s staff and seeing how open and professional everyone is, I felt that this was the perfect work environment that I want to be a part of.

Frank Fogarty - Clinical Assistant
frank@drgellerman.com

Frank Working at Dr. Gellerman's office is a great experience. I enjoy working at this office for many reasons, but my number one reason has to be because of the people I work with. My coworkers have been helpful to me since day one. Whenever I need help there is always someone there to lend a helping hand. There is nothing better than working with a great Team.

In addition to my coworkers, I could never enjoy doing my job without working with great patients. I love the interaction and connections I have formed with patients.

Tara Laveaux - Clinical Assistant
tara@drgellerman.com

Sarah

My name is Tara Laveaux, and I am a clinical assistant here at Dr. Gellerman’s office. I graduated from Queens College with a BA in Psychology in 2010 and began working in a school as a teacher’s aide. Just a few months into it, I realized I didn’t like it there. I began searching for a new job, and I stumbled upon a position for an orthodontic assistant. Prior to the teacher’s aide position, I was an orthodontic assistant for five years. With my experience, I gave it a shot. I came in for the interview, and I was very pleased with Dr. Gellerman and her staff. They were all very welcoming. I joined the Spectacular Smiles Team in February 2011, and although it is a bit of a drive for me, it’s well worth it!
