11-2pm @ Heckscher Park
Come on out and join us for the THIRD annual Kiss Cancer Good-Bye Walk on Saturday, September 13! We’ll walk around Heckscher Park, enjoy a beautiful outdoor performance by the amazing dancers from Lynch School of Ballet, have a warm up led by fitness pros, a boxing demo from the folks at Title Boxing Club, play fun games and of course, walk around Heckscher Pond.
Kiss Cancer Good-Bye was created to give area families an opportunity to show their support for pediatric cancer patients and their families. All proceeds are donated to MoRE Camp Adventure, a sleep-away camp that offers pediatric cancer patients a memorable week enjoying a summer camp experience at no cost.
MORE Camp Adventure Kids Need More was founded in 1990 and relies solely on donations to run the camp. Two of our team members attended the camp when one of them had cancer, and many years later they continue to be involved. We hope you will join us to support this very important group.
The Heckscher Museum of Art will give free admission on the day of the event to anyone wearing a Kiss Cancer Good-Bye Walk T-shirt.
We hope that you will come out and be a part of the Kiss Walk! It’s only $20 per person to register, and sponsorships are very affordably priced!
